The earth's atmosphere consists of air which extends upward as far as 1,000 miles. Air is a mixture of gases made up of 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, .93% argon, and .07% other gases. At sea level air weighs 14.7 lbs. per sq. inch. At an altitude of 30,000 feet, the weight of air is only 4.3 lbs. per sq. inch. And at an altitude of 50,000 feet air only weighs 1.6 lbs. per sq. inch. The higher one goes, the less pressure they’re under.
The same holds true concerning our relationship with the Lord. The higher we go in our walk with Jesus, the greater our faith will become. Great faith enables us to cast great burdens upon the Lord thus lessening the pressures of life.
Therefore, "go up higher" (Luke 14:10) and "draw nigh to God..." (James 4:8) "for He careth for you" (1 Peter 5:7).
