The Suez Canal is a 100 mile long man-made waterway which runs across the Isthmus of Suez connecting the Red Sea to the Mediterranean Sea. The canal shortens the journey from India to England by 6,000 miles. The ten year construction project began in 1859 and lasted until 1869. Where there once was no way through the Suez wilderness for ships to travel, engineers made a way.
When life's difficult circumstances become as the Suez wilderness with no apparent way through, "fear not..." (Is 43:5). For our heavenly engineer, Jehovah God, has said "I will... make a way in the wilderness..." (Isa 43:19).
Therefore, "Fret not thyself" (Ps 37:1. "Commit thy way unto the Lord" (Ps 37:5) and “He shall give thee the desires of thine heart" (Ps 37:4).
