 In 1936, Robert Pershing (1918-1940) obtained the Guinnes world record title of “the world's tallest man.” At age 22, he was 8'-11" tall. History only records one other man who was taller. His name is Goliath. According to 1st Samuel 17:4, "Goliath... was six cubits and a span," which is 9'-9". Thus Guinnes' tallest man in the world was still 10" shorter than Goliath. This Goliath was the giant whom David went to battle against and slew with only a slingshot.
When gigantic troubles overshadow you, as Goliath overshadowed David, do as David did -- don't give up and run away from them, but face them "in the name of the Lord" (1 Sam 17:45). "For He shall deliver the needy when he crieth" (Ps 72:12).
