I will give you rest. 

     The word "creep" is an engineering term used to describe the gradual movement and permanent deformation that slowly takes place in solid materials under the influence of too much pressure and stress. Over an extended period of time, too much stress will eventualy fatigue a material to the point where it will crack and no longer be able to perform its function.
     People react to stress a lot like materials do under pressure. The greater the burden of stress -- the greater the fatigue. But thanks be unto Jesus Christ, we don't have to bear our burdens alone. He invites us to "come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" (Mt 11:28). Therefore, "cast thy burden upon the Lord (Ps 55:22a) for "He shall sustain thee" (Ps 55:22b) and give you "rest unto your soul" (Mt 11:29).
