He careth for you. 

     Known as "The Incubator Doctor," Dr. Martin Couney (1870?-1950) was a physician specializing in the care of premature babies. He is renowned for pioneering the use of incubators, at a time when most hospitals would not allow them. Couney operated a clinic on the boardwalk at New York's Coney Island. At no cost to parents, the good doctor placed their frail babies in an incubator until they were strong enough to live on their own. He funded his work by charging a 25 cent fee to many thousands of curious people who wanted to see the babies on display. Among the approximate 6,500 babies who owe their lives to his efforts, Dr. Couney is regarded as one of the few who cared enough to help them in their time of need.
     Just as Dr. Couney cared for and helped the little ones, Jesus also "careth for you" (1Pe 5:7). He loves you "with an everlasting love" (Jer 31:3) and is "with you always" (Mt 28:20) to "help in time of need" (Heb 4:16).
