God's Correction Fluid

 Ye do err...
(Matthew 22:29)

Bette_Nesmith     In 1951, Bette Nesmith (1924-1980) was working as a secretary at a bank. When electric typewriters were introduced to her office, Bette found herself making more mistakes due to their lighter touch. Knowing artists paint over their mistakes, she went home and made a mixture containing fast drying paint and put it in a bottle. The next day, using a small brush she applied the mixture to her typing errors. Soon, at the request of other typists, she began making and selling what she called Mistake Out. By 1958 Bette had changed the name of her correction fluid to Liquid Paper and was selling nearly a hundred bottles a month. In 1979 she sold the Liquid Paper Company for $47.5 million.
Making mistakes is a part of life. It's how we respond to them that's important. Bette Nesmith found a way to right her wrongs with her correction fluid. Likewise we can right our spiritual wrongs with God's correction fluid, the blood of Jesus. For "the blood of Jesus Christ... cleanseth us from all sin"
(1Jn 1:7). Therefore should you mess up, don't give up. Simply apply God's correction fluid to your mistakes and right your wrongs. Being a Christian doesn't mean we are perfect, it means we are forgiven.
